BARN PROJECT

UPDATE!
The Dickerson Barn started being raised on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at our site on North Territorial and Curtis Roads!!!!
The raising of the structure beams was completed in June 2007.  The siding of Michigan White Pine (1"x12"x14') and the loft structure and its floor were complete by mid-August 2007.  The roof structure was complete with Red Cedar shingles in August 2007.  The doors were hung in August 2008.   The drainage and initial ground leveling was completed in October 2008.  The Barn was painted in October 2008.  A scout community project was held in November 2008 to improve the crawl space and the flooring.

However, SAHS is still needs to raise the last of the funds to complete this project.   We are short of funds to complete the windows, fence and the final landscaping.   We still need about $3,000.
